Daily heating with the fireplace

Once the stove has warmed up properly, you can safely heat it up every day - according to your personal heat requirement. As a rule, a basic masonry is heated only once a day for 2-3 hours and then radiates up to 24 hours of its beneficial heat. Once the fire has started, the following tips will help you to heat the stove optimally:

  • Always lay down the wood before the previous charge has completely burned down, that is, while there are still flames.
  • Always lay several logs at once.
  • Make sure that the throttle valve is fully open during the entire firing phase.
  • The door of the firebox must also be open during the firing phase - never close the door while the fire is still burning.
  • Only the heating flap should be closed as soon as the fire is burning properly. The firing Valve is intended only for heating, as soon as the fire is burning, it is closed.
  • Maintain the fire for about two to three hours. During this time, you need to refill wood about two to three times to enjoy warmth all day long.
  • If the fire is completely burned down at the end of the firing phase and there is only embers in the fireplace (no flames are visible anymore), the door of the combustion chamber and the throttle should be closed. Now the heat of the remaining embers in the stove is "captured" and stored.
